Redes da Maré is a non-profit organization that carries out around 45 projects, in different areas, aimed at defending the rights of residents of the 15 favelas of Maré. The necessary resources for the actions to operate permanently and with quality are obtained through partnerships and donations from supporters who believe and wish to strengthen the causes and values defended by the institution.

Public notices, incentive laws, specific partnerships, crowdfunding, campaigns, individual and corporate donations are ways of raising funds for the institution, which maintains a page on the website dedicated to transparency and accountability.
